Dhaka: A youth, who sustained burn injuries in a fire incident at Badda Vatara of city, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Rubel, 20.

Family sources said that the victim was an employee of ‘Joy Hair Cutting Saloon’ in the area and on July 28, a fire broke out around 7:00am, leaving four people burnt injured.

Later, the injured were rushed to DMCH. Then Rubel was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital where he died on Thursday morning.
