‘Rescued alive’ a dram for money!

FROM MAWA GHAT: The man, who was reportedly rescued after four days of launch Pinak-6 capsized in Padma River, was proved fraud and a drama for bagging money. 

Inspector (investigation) Mujibur Rahman of Sreenagar Police Station confirmed the matter to media.

The man, who introduced himself as Sarwar, is actually named Rasel, 20, son of Alauddin Sardar and resident of Kukrail area of Madaripur. 

The inspector said he did the drama for money and was provoked by a cameraman.

“We suspected Rasel when he was rescued. Later he confessed about the misdeed when he was taken to interrogation” the Inspector added.

Rasel was handed over to the Mawa Naval Police outpost.
