GAZIPUR: A devastating fire broke out at Beximco Industrial Park area at Chakrabarty in the bordering area of Dhaka and Gazipur districts early Sunday.

Locals told banglanews that the fire originated around 5:30am and soon spread out to the whole area while the source of origination is yet to know.

Fire Services and Civil Defenses source said that on information, seven units from Savar and Gazipur fire service stations rushed to the spot and trying to douse the fire.

Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense Assistant Deputy Director Akhtaruzzaman Liton, however, told banglanews that the fire might burn a huge amount of fabrics and looms which were stored in the godown.
