DHAKA: Bangladesh National Cricket Team Captain Mushfiqur Rahim invited BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on his wedding scheduled to be held on September 27.

Mushfiq along with his parents went to Gulshan office to invite the BNP Chairperson.

Meanwhile, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP Sports Affairs Secretary Colonel (retd) Abdul Latif were present during the time. 

Earlier on August 6, visiting Ganobhaban, the official residence of PM, Mushfiqur Rahim invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on his wedding. 

The would-be-wife is Jannatul Khifayet Mondi, BBA student of Prime University, also sister-in-law of Mahmadullah Riad, another cricketer of the national cricket team.

The engagement of Mushfiq and Mondi was completed on October 26, 2013.
