DHAKA: Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained five people with foreign currencies worth about 86 lacs from Shahjalal International Airport.
The detainees are—Maksudur Rahman, 38, Razan Shikder, 40, Sumon Shikder, 40, SM Rafiqul, 35 and Badal Khan, 44.
Confirming the matter to banglanews, APBn ASP A Amin said, “They were bound for Malaysia and were held from boarding bridge area with the currencies.”
