MUNSHIGANJ: Launch services on the Daulatdia-Paturia river route have resumed after a 12-hour suspension due to rough weather.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) said that due to heavy waves in the Padma River, the authorities have forced to suspend the movement of launches to avoid any accident.
After 12 hours halt, the ferry services resumed on the route around 6:30am on Sunday, he added.
