Locals told banglanews that “On information, seven units from Savar and Gazipur fire service stations rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the flame under control since 5:00am when the fire broke out there.

Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense Assistant Deputy Director Akhtaruzzaman Liton told banglanews that the fire originated from Crescent Fashion Design Limited warehouse at that area and later spread to a couple of building there.

Some creaks have been developed at the wall and ceiling of building due to fire, he added.

However, the cause of the fire and extent of damage are yet to be known.

Beximco security men obstructed the Journalists to enter the factory area to cover news, a spot account said.
