GAIBANDHA: Two workers died after drinking toxic liquor in Gobindoganj of the district early Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Jahurul Islam, 40, of Gobindaganj and Ripon Mia, 37, hailed from Tangail.

Locals said that the duo fell sick after drinking toxic liquor. They were rushed to Upazila Health Complex where doctor declared them dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Gobindaganj Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
