5 to walk gallows for murder

DHAKA: A Dhaka Court awarded death penalty to five people as they were found involved in a murder in Gopalganj.

The convicts are—Lelin Shikder, Monir Hossain, Swapon Molla alias Dalim, Obaidul Sheikh alias Ibadul Sheikh and Tapan Kazia alias Bagha.

Judge of Dhaka Speedy Trial Court-3 ABM Sajedur Rahman passed the order on Thursday.

The court also acquitted six others when they were found not involved.
