DHAKA: The newly appointed some 6,221 doctors, selected through the 33rd BCS Health cadre, would join their respective workplaces on Tuesday.

Health Minister Mohamamd Nasim made the disclosure while addressing a ‘Meet the Report’ at Dhaka Reporter’s Unity in Segunbagicha area of the city.

“This is the first time in the history of Bangladesh the large number of doctors were appointed at a time. The doctors will be sent to their own workplace on August 19.”

On August 7, the doctor altogether joined the BCS health cadre formally at an orientation ceremony at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city.
