DHAKA: Government has made liberation war affairs secretary KH Masud Siddiqui an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

Siddiqui was made OSD on the incident of the scam in purchasing shields given to foreign friends in recognition of their contribution to Liberation War and issue of certificates for fake freedom fighters. 

Additional secretary of environment and forest ministry MA Hannan has been posted as the secretary of liberation war affairs ministry.

A gazette notification from public administration ministry said on Monday.
