DHAKA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive detained seven people along with a pistol, two magazines and 15-round bullets from city’s Rampura area early Monday.

Operation Officer of Rab-3 and Assistant Superintendent of Police Rabiul Karim said acting on tip-off elite forces conducted the drive in the area and recovered the arms.

The forces also recovered 70 canes of bear and 13 mobile phone sets.

The detainees were kept at RAB-3 Headquarters for interrogation, the ASP added.
