DHAKA: The government, in the latest development, made changes in the public administration on Monday.

The Public Administration Ministry issued separate gazette notifications in this connection in the afternoon.

Information and Communication Technology Secretary M Nazrul Islam was transferred to Education Ministry; Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industry Corporation (BSCIC) Chairman Shyam Sundar Shikder was made Secretary to Information and Communication Technology Division.

Besides, National Housing Authority (NHA) Chairman M Shahidullah Khandaker was made Acting Secretary of Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED).

In another order, Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education Shyamol Kanti Ghosh was made Acting Member of Privatization Commission.
