DHAKA: A steel rolling mill worker was killed as a blade of the factory hit his throat in Shyampur area of the city on Wednesday noon.

The deceased was identified as M Kamal Hossain, 34.

Fellow worker of the deceased Ershad said a blade of the mill hit at his throat in the area in the noon, leaving him injured critically.

However, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead.
