DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed authorities concerned to take necessary steps to bring peace in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) region in the country.

She came up with the order during her visit to Chittagong Hill Tracts affairs ministry at the secretariat in city on Thursday.

The PM said that the incumbent government has been working to implement the rest parts of the peace treaty to bring peace permanently in the CHT region.

She also suggested people to be aware regarding the goons who try to do harm in disguise of being friends.
