DHAKA: Customs Intelligence arrested a man with 1.5kg gold worth Tk 75 lakhs, concealed in a vacuum cleaner, at Shahjalal Airport on Friday.
The detainee is- Mahibul Khan, 39, son of Nurul Haque Khan, hailed from Munshiganj.
Confirming the matter to banglanews, Assistant Director of Customs Intelligence Umme Nahida Akter said, “The man came from Singapore by MH102 and was held while crossing green channel.”
“The gold includes- 9 pieces balls, 12 chains and 12 rings,” she added.
