DHAKA: Bangladesh President M Abdul Hamid on Saturday expressed his hope that the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Japan would improve in the future.

The President came out with the hope when the visiting Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe called on him at Bangabhaban in the evening.

Shinzo Abe reached Bangabhaban at 6:25pm and stayed for 25 minutes.

The President thanked Japan premier for helping Bangladesh people with US $600 billion and said the bilateral relation would strengthen in the future.

Abe informed the President about the business delegation that accompanied him and said that they are interested to invest in Bangladesh.
