DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel held three persons and a police official with firearms while they were dealing firearms in Uttara area of the city on Wednesday evening.

The accused police official is Asaduzzaman, Sub-Inspector of Special Branch.

RAB-1 sources said four people, including the police official, were detained a foreign made pistol, 3 rounds of bullet and a magazine from the sector-6 of Uttara.

Assistant Director of Legal and Media Wing of RAB Captain Maksud confirmed the matter to banglanews.
