DHAKA: A Thai-glass fitter was killed as he fell down from a high-rise building in city’s Motijheel area on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Khokon Mia, 35, son of Konu Mia hailed from Brahmanbaria district.

Sources said he fell from the fourteenth floor of a 20-storey building while he was fitting glass in the area around 12:00 noon, leaving him dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Motijheel Thana Sub-Inspector Jamal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
