JHEENAIDAH: A couple was found dead at a clinic of Sadar upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.

On information, police recovered the bodies, said a spot account of the accident.

The deceased were identified as Jewel Hossain, 31, son of Jhontu Fakir and Jewel’s wife Nasrin Khatun, 25.

Owner of Jhenidah Doctor’s Clinic Hamidunnesa Pakhi told banglanews that the couple came to the clinic to consult with doctor about their complexity.

They were sent in a room where they found dead after a while, she added.

The bodies were sent to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Police Super of the district Altaf Hossain visited the clinic. The death of the couple is mysterious, he added.

Officer-in-Charge of Jhenidah Sadar Thana Shahabuddin Azad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
