DHAKA: Department of Narcotics Control personnel held a woman drug peddler with 1,000 pieces of yaba tablets in city’s Tikatuli area on Sunday.

The detainee is Selina Akter.

Narcotics control department sources said officials conducted a special drive and held Selina with the drugs from a house of the area.

A case was filed with Bangshal Thana in this connection.

Assistant Director of the department (north) Mohammad Manjurul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
