DHAKA: Former Secretary for Information Commission Nepal Chandra Sarker and Professor Khurshida Begum of Government and Politics Department of Jahangirnagar University were appointed as commissioners of the Information Commission.

A press release issued by the secretariat disclosed the matter on Monday.

The President Abdul Hamid, as per section 15(1) of Right to Information Act 2009, appointed them.
