DHAKA: Law minister Anisul Haque has been ‘shocked’ at Sayedee’s verdict.

He, however, expressed his opinion to the journalists in the noon at his own residence in city’s Gulshan area.

Anisul Haque said there that he is upset after knowing that the verdict said that being member of Shanti Committee is not guilt.

He, moreover, expressed his sorrow after hearing that the Gonojagoron Moncho alleged that the government compromised with Jamaat.

Law minister said that Moncho’s allegation is not true, unfair and pathetic.

He also said that he, himself despite of being a minister, is upset to accept the verdict.

Earlier, Gonojagoron Moncho also expressed their dissatisfaction on appellate division's verdict that commutes death penalty of war criminal Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee to imprisonment unto death.
