PABNA: Two persons were killed in a road accident on Pabna-Ishwardi road in Maligachha area under Sadar upazila at 6:00am Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Jalil Mollah, 50 and Nurul Islam, 45.
Witnesses and police said, “A covered van knocked a truck, which was standing beside road, from behind, leaving Jalil and Nurul Islam dead on the spot.”
Sub-Inspector of Pabna Sadar Thana Abdul Hamid said, “The bodies were sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.”
