FROM NEW DELHI: Bangladesh will put emphasize on early completion of Teesta water sharing agreement at the meeting of the Joint Consultative Commission in Delhi.
Sources of Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi confirmed it to banglanews.
High commission’s minister (press) Enamul Haque Chowdhury told banglanews, Bangladesh will give emphasis on the Teesta treaty at the JCC Delhi meeting.
Other unsettled issues will be discussed to strengthen the bilateral relations, he added.
Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali is scheduled to arrive at New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport at 2:00pm to attend the meeting.
