DHAKA: Police held two alleged extortionists with a revolver from city’s Kawran Bazar on Thursday night.

The detainees were identified as Anowar Hossain Ujjal and khorshed Ali.

Police sources said that they were allegedly involved in extortion in the area for long time.

A case was filed with Tejgaon Thana in this connection.

Officer-in-Charge of Tejgaon Thana Majharul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
