THAKURGAON: Four Bangladeshi cattle traders were shot by Border Security Force (BSF) of India on Beurjhari frontier under Baliadangi upazila on Friday night.

The injured traders are- Tozammel Hossain, Mistar Ahmed, Sadekul Islam and Dilu Mohammad.

Local sources said that BSF opened fire when the four traders tried to intrude into Indian Territory, leaving them injured. They took treatment locally.

Intelligence Officer of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major Towhid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
