GAZIPUR: Some 25 readymade garment workers have fallen sick due to drinking contaminated water at Master Garments in Bhogra area of the district on Saturday morning.

Local sources said that the workers fell sick after drinking water and having tiffin of the garment factory around 10:00am.

On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the workers to various hospitals.

The workers claimed that a sick worker died but police denied the complaint.

Confirming the matter, Joydevpur Thana Sub-Inspector Fauzia Sultana said that dead news of worker was not correct.
