RAJSHAHI: At least ten people, including seven Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel, were injured in a road accident in front of Kharil High School under Mohanpur Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The injured RAB personnel are- RAB-5 Deputy Additional Director (DAD) Mahbub, Sub-Inspector Tapan, Assistant Sub-Inspector Albab, Driver Biswanath, RAB personnel Nur Hossain, Shafique and Atik.

Mohanpur Thana Inspector (Investigation) Shakil Uddin told banglanews that a pickup of RAB-5 collided head-on with a human hauler in the area around 7:00am, leaving the ten people injured.

Later, locals rushed to spot and sent the injured to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
