DHAKA: Mosharraf Hossain Mosha, Ringleader of Mosharraf Bahini, was arrested by the immigration police at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday noon.

Later, immigration police handed over Mosharraf to the Rupganj Thana police, sources added.

Mosharraf is accused for various misdeeds in Rupganj.

Locals said Mosharraf Bahini recently tortured 11 minority people as they refused to pay him extortion of Tk 100,000.

The gangster also violated three minority women, they added.

According to the locals, as many as 70 minority families have been passing in terror of losing lives due to the Mosharraf Bahini.

A source close to him claimed that Mosharraf has had connection with main accused in Narayanganj seven-murder case Nur Hossain.
