DHAKA: Law enforcers detained two Islami Chhatra Shibir activists while they were torching and vandalizing vehicles in city’s Mirpur area during hartal on Sunday.

The detainees are Monir Hossain and Taimur Reza.

Police sources said two Shibir activists were held with two petrol bombs while they were creating violence in the area.

However, earlier, police detained another two Shibir activists from the area.

A case was filed with Mirpur Thana in this connection.

Officer-in-Charge of Mirpur Thana Salauddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
