6 accused remanded in Moghbazar triple murder

DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Sunday placed six people on remand with different terms in Moghbazar Triple Murder case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Rezaul Islam passed the order of total six days remand of Shahidullah, Ramjan Ali, Rubel Miah Sani and Maruf Hossain in two separate cases. 

The court also placed Al Amin and Shafin Lashkar on three days remand in arms case.

The order came in response to sub-inspector of Ramna Thana Mizanur Rahman’s plea for 10-day remand in murder and arms case.

General Recording Officer (GRO) of the court Mahmudur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

On Friday, police arrested the aforesaid people in separate drives from Munshiganj and Dhaka’s several areas.

The law enforcers also seized two pistols and three machetes from their possession.

On August 28, Ranu Akhter Bristy, Billal Hossain and Munna were killed by firing of some terrorists.

Brother of Bristy, Shamim, filed a murder case against 15 people with Raman Thana.

On September 15, main accused of the case Shah Alam alias Kala Babu was killed with police gunfight.
