DHAKA: A motorcyclist was killed and his eight-year-old son injured in a road accident in city’s Shyamoli area on Sunday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said a rashly driven passenger bus knocked a motorbike down in the area around 4:00pm, leaving the motorcyclist dead on the spot and his minor son injured critically.

The injured was rushed to a local hospital, they added.
