RANGAMATI: A grenade was exploded at the premises of Parbatya Chattagram Ancholik Parisad office in the district early Monday.

Sources said that the explosion took place under a Lichi tree near to second entrance of the parisad around 3:30am which broke the glasses and punctured the tyres of a car of Parbatya Chattagram Unnayan Board.

Besides, grenade splinters also hit four other vehicles but no one was reportedly injured.

On information, high officials of army and police visited the spot.

Rangamati Assistant Police Super (ASP) SK Paul confirmed the matter to banglanews.
