DHAKA: The government has issued a gazette notification after canceling the certificates of freedom fighters of three secretaries and one joint secretary.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification canceling and suspending the gazettes on Monday.

Besides, the government also suspended the gazette of one secretary.

The gazettes of former Secretary of Liberation War Affairs KH Masud Siddiqui (currently on OSD), Health Secretary Niaz Uddin Mia, Public Service Commission (PSC) Secretary AKM Amir Hossain and Joint-Secretary to Liberation War Affairs Ministry Abul Kashem Talukder (on OSD) were cancelled.

Besides, the gazette of former Secretary to Prime Minister’s Office Mollah Wahiduzzaman, currently chairman to Privatisation Commission with the status of deputy minister, was suspended.
