2-kg gold seized at Shahjalal

DHAKA: Customs intelligence authorities on Monday held a person with two kilograms gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city.

Sources said customs officials, acting on tip-off, led a special drive and held a person with the gold bars around 9:15pm.

The detainee was identified as Jacky Ghosh.

Joint Commissioner of Customs Intelligence Authority Kazi M Zia Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
