SATKHIRA: Border Guard Bangladesh personnel detained eight Bangladesh nationals in Komorpur border area of the district on Wednesday morning when they were trying to enter into the country illegally.
The detainees were identified as Mjibur Rahman, 50, Sabuj Sardar, 28, Fazlur Rahma, 30, Saddam Hossain, 22, Sazzadul Islam, 20, Yunus Sarkar, 28, M Samad, 22, Tayebur Rahman, 20.
The detainees have been handed over to the police at the concerned Thana.
Border Guard Battalion-34 operation officer Major Ahad at Nildumur area of the district confirmed the matter to banglanews.
