MANIKGANJ: A district court on Wednesday fixed November 23 to record the deposition in a case of a road accident that killed noted filmmaker Tareq Masud, chief executive officer (CEO) of ATN News Mishuk Munier and three others.

Catherine Masud, wife of Tareq Masud, painter Dhali Al Mamun and his wife Dilara Begum Jolly submitted deposition before the court of Sub-Judge Mohamammad Rafiqul from 12:00 noon to 2:45pm.

Barrister Sara Hossain, Barrister Bilkis Akhter Mili and Barrister Mohammad Motaher Hossain, including other lawyers for plaintiff were present during the submission of deposition.

On August 13, 2011, the five people, including Tareq Masud and Mishuk Munier, were killed when their microbus collided head-on with a passenger bus on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Manikganj.
