PABNA: Secretary of Atgharia municipality under Sujanagar upazila of the district succumbed to his injuries at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Sunday noon.

The deceased was identified Abdur Rashid, 42, son of Biru Pramanik and resident of the area.

Sujanagar Thana sources said that Abdur Rashid was injured critically as CNG-run auto-rickshaw crushed into his motorbike on Dhaka-Pabna highway on Saturday.

He was rushed to Pabna General Hospital and then shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed at 1:00pm on Sunday.

Officer-in-Charge of Sujanagar Thana Habibur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
