RIYADH: President Abdul Hamid will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to perform hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam and the most significant manifestation of Islamic faith and unity.
Bangladesh ambassador to Riyadh sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
President will land at King Abdulaziz International Airport on the day and will start for Makkah to perform hajj.
After that, they will go to Madinah on October 7 Tuesday to offer prayer to Roza Mubarak of Hazrat Mohammad’s (SAW).
He will stay in Saudi Arab as a royal guest of Saudi king.
A 47-member delegation, including Rashida Hamid, wife of the President, two sons, their wives, President’s personal officer and others will also accompany him.
Abdul Hamid will return Dhaka on October 10.
