8 held with drugs, arms in Cox’s Bazar

COX’S BAZAR: Law enforcers detained eight people with drugs and firearms in three different drives in the district on Monday.

Police sources said they were held with three light guns, four rounds of cartridges, 520 liters of wine, 11,600 pieces of Yaba tablets from Sadar and Teknaf upazilas of the district early Monday.

Additional Police Superintendent of Cox’s Bazar Tofael Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
