MANIKGANJ: A person was killed and six others sustained burn injuries as a fire broke out at a CNG station in Barangail area at Shibalaya upazila of the district on Monday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Fire Service sources said the fire originated at a machineries room of Rumi CNG Filling Station in the area around 4:30pm, leaving a person dead on the spot and six others were injured critically.

On information, the fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.

However, the injured were rushed to Manikganj Sadar Hospital.
