DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) formed a special striking force to avert any untoward situation on the occasion of the upcoming Holy Eid and Durga Puja.
They also kept alert its dog squad and also bomb disposal unit.
RAB media and legal wing director Commander Mufti Mahmud Khan made the disclosure while talking to reporters at Banani Puja Mandap in city on Tuesday.
He said the elite force took a four-tier security measure and they are patrolling the mandap areas.
The RAB conducted a drill of its dog squad and bomb disposal unit in Banani Puja Mandap in the morning.
