DCC urges city dwellers to follow waste management

DHAKA: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) administrator Mohammad Ebrahim Hossain Khan urged the city dwellers to drop wastes in specific places.

The administrator came up with the assertion after visiting the National Eidgah in city on Sunday noon.

He said that City Corporation will start to remove wastes from 2:00pm on the Eid day and will continue the cleaning operation for 48 hours.

Ebrahim Hossain also said that some seven thousands DCC staff will work to clean the city and 12 additional people will be deployed in each ward.

Besides, Water Supply & Sewerage Authority (WASA), Army, NAVY assured to help DCC to keep the city clean.
