DHAKA: The 30th preliminary examinations under Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) ended on Friday.

About 150,000 candidates sat for the exam at 110 centres in six divisional headquarters against 2572 posts.

The examinations continued from 10am to 11am.

Of candidates, 98,843 from Dhaka, 18303 from Rajshahi, 12,797 from Chittagong, 3091 from Barisal, 4860 from Sylhet and 10264 candidates from Khulna took part in the examination.
