NEW YORK: Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith categorically said that gas using for cooking should be stopped.

The minister came up with the assertion while addressing a view exchange meeting with Jalalabad Association of America in New York on Monday evening. 

He commented that the natural gas using for cooking means waste of gas which will bring the country to destruction.

Meanwhile, in reply of a question AMA Muhith also said that the New York route of Biman is not starting due to the weakness of management and security.

With the organization president Badrul Khan in the chair, Bangladesh Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN in New York Dr AK Abdul Momen among others delivered speech in the program.
