KHAGRACHHARI: Two people were killed as a speedy bus rammed into an auto rickshaw in Patachhara area of Ramgarh upazila of the district on Tuesday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) M Shahjahan of Khagrachhari confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the Feni-bound speedy bus smashed the auto rickshaw in the area around 2:00pm, leaving the auto rickshaw driver and its passenger dead on the spot and two other people injured.

Locals rushed the injured to the Ramgarh Upazila Health Complex.

One of the injured is in critical condition.
