PIROJPUR: Two kids drowned in two separate incidents in Kawkhali Upazila on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Apon, 3, son of upazila Jubo Dal president and Naima, 2.

Family and hospital sources said, “Apon drowned in a canal near his house and Naima drowned in a pond adjacent to their residence.”

Upazila Health Officer Dr Siddiqur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
