DHAKA: State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday alleged that the Indian government has not provided any information on the Sarda scandal to Bangladesh yet.
The minister told these in a reply to a query from a journalist at the Secretariat in the city.
Asked on whether India has been lingering over providing information, Asaduzzaman Kamal said, more times are being taken for the securitization of the information, it does not seem that they have any negligence.
The minister said reports on money, which was channeled through Bangladesh for the Bardhaman blast, has not been come under the government’s eyes yet.
The news comes to government through a system, steps would be taken receiving the reports, government gave importance on these matters, he added.
Kamal said, government’s stance against the militancy is clear; it (militancy) has no room inside the country and zero tolerance would be shown to the use of the country’s soil for militancy.
Bangladesh has become successful to curb militancy and a special task force is working to bring the financing sources of militancy to the forefront, the minister added.
