DHAKA: Nine more Bangladeshi nationals, detained in Thailand, are expected to return home on Friday.

They will be brought back home in a flight of Bangladesh Biman.

A foreign ministry briefing confirmed the matter on Thursday.

Sources said that over past few months, a total of 189 Bangladeshi nationals have been brought back home from Thailand.

Joint efforts by the foreign ministry and Bangladesh embassy in Thailand are underway to bring back all the detained Bangladeshi nationals from Thailand, sources added.
